Brusha, brusha, brusha with fresh squeezed toothpaste!

“It’s so hard to be me!” I say this phrase way more often than I’d like to admit.

Trying to reach my water bottle that my husband absent-mindedly pushed to the center of the table. Trying to sit up after leaning forward in my wheelchair. Brushing my teeth. Doing my make up. Guys, these things are HARD.

I do struggle with simple tasks, and it IS hard to be me. But, I’m so glad for the struggles I go through.

I am a firm believer that all trials you go through and the struggles you endure, teach you invaluable life lessons. Even if I don’t understand what I could possibly learn from the difficulties of brushing my teeth.

What I do know, is that struggles can be made easier!

Each morning, I would have my care provider squeeze toothpaste onto my toothbrush and leave it on the counter for me. The rest I can do myself, but after eating breakfast and going back to brush, the toothpaste had started to dry and crust over – gross!

I found this amazing gadget called a Toothpaste Dispenser. Check it out on Amazon! It’s not expensive and I cannot explain to you how amazing it is to be able to brush my teeth without anyone squeezing the tube for me (AND how amazing it is to have FRESH toothpaste each time!)

It’s advertised for kids to help them get the right amount, which is another reason I love it – I have learned over the years that everyone uses a different amount. Too much, too little…but, now, I get to have just the right amount. 🙂

The one I got was from WAYCOM on Amazon. Inexpensive and comes in a few colors. It also comes with a toothbrush holder! Basically, it’s a steal of a deal and worth every penny for my new found freedom!
